Some more pictures to enjoy!! I especially love the ones of her and her daddy. I swear I love Michael more now that I see how much he loves our little one! I think she is going to be a daddy's girl for sure!

Michael and Allie have their "morning time" when Michael totes Allie around on his shoulder. They also enjoy looking out the window.

Well, what a great week so far. All of a sudden, I mean within a days time, Allie has turned into a totally different baby. She doesn't fuss nearly as much, and she doesn't need to be held nearly as often either. We just play and play, and she even lets her daddy hold her a lot these days, much to his pleasure!!! I have also been going walking with my preacher's wife which also happens to be one of my best friends, Amanda, and Allie just loves that. I put her in a carrier that I strap on to the front of me and she just enjoys the scenery as we walk around the neighborhood!I have started putting her down for her naps and bedtime and letting her put herself to sleep, and so far so good. I followed the advice of one of my greatest friends, (thanks Amber!) and Allie only fusses for about ten minutes and then she is asleep, and when she wakes up in the middle of a nap, she puts herself back to sleep instead of me having to go get her and rock her. I am looking forward to the day when she doesn't even fuss, but just falls on to sleep. Even though her fussing only lasts for about ten minutes, it is still really hard to listen to! Now, if I could only learn how to make her like baths!!! She still detests those. Oh yeah, and really big news in the Hataway household, SHE ROLLED OVER!!!! She has done it four times already, and she is so happy when she does!!!

Allie had a great visit from her cousin Aaron this week. He came to spend the night with us, and she loved every minute of it. She gave away a lot of smiles!! Thanks Aaron for a great time!

My Precious Family
Sometimes I just have to step back and pinch myself to make sure that my life is real. I have everything that I could have ever wanted. Being a wife and mother is more than I ever imagined it could be. You know, when I got marries six years ago at the ripe old age of 18, I had so many people only comment negatively on marraige. I heard things that sounded like my life was over after marraige. The same thing happened when I found out I was expecting Allie. People would tell me, oh well you just better enjoy life while you can. Well, in both cases, my life has done nothing but get better and better! I am so thankful for my marraige and my precious little one, and there is nothing I would rather do than be a wife to Michael and a mom to Allie!!!!!

Daddy and Me
I just love it when Allie loves on her Daddy. When Michael holds Allie up to his face, she just kisses him and loves on him, and it melts my heart every time!! Michael loves to hear that first cry in the morning, and races in the room to get her up. He wants her to think that he rescues her when she is in despair! Allie knows she can always count on Daddy.

Allie's Ninny and Pa (my parents) came to see her from Florida this past weekend. She just loved her Ninny and Pa. I think they got more smiles from Allie then I did this past week. Ninny was especially good at getting Allie to sleep when she just didn't want to give it up. We had our Annual Meeting at our church and they came up for that. We had such a great meeting! It left us all rejuvinated to serve the Lord as we should, and worship and adore our heavenly King! The only one that didn't like the meeting was our little dollbaby. Let's just say that she isn't all that crazy about large crowds yet, and the more people that try to hold her the worse it gets. That's okay though, at next year's Annual Meeting she will be the life of the party!!

Well, I guess now that this proves Allie is without a doubt too big for her bassinett. It has been so hard to make the decision to move her from our room to her own room at night because I just feel so much better with her right next to me. But as you can see, Allie is growing and her bassinett isn't, so I guess I will have to do what has been so hard and move her to her own room. She is three months old now, and I know she will be much more comfortable in a bigger bed, but it is going to be sad to move her where I can't just reach over and touch her when I need to!! There are a lot of times through the night when I just get up to look at her. Oh well, her room isn't that far away so I guess I will just have to make the short walk to her room at night when I need to!

PLAYTIME WITH MOMMY
To Allie, I am known as Mommy, aka the Hair Monster. Yeah, you read it right, the Hair Monster!!! She loves it when I put my hair in front of my face and get her belly with it. I can pull the Hair Monster out in a clutch, and it works just about every time! We have so much fun together, and I grow more in love with her every day. I thinks she likes her Mommy just a little bit too! and Michael, lets just say he is hooked!! She lights up when Daddy gets home, and looks for him when he walks by or when she hears his voice.
Little Allie has also been sleeping for long periods at night, thank the Good Lord!! It is a great night if she goes six and a half hours, but she has gone eight! I just don't know what to do with myself with all of this sleep. I feel like the energizer bunny after nights like these. Ofcourse, it wears off pretty quick after our playtimes! Allie is absolutely precious, that is if you are holding her and giving her your undevided attention. If you put her down and leave her, she lets you know really quick that she just isn't going to have it! We have decided that when she is 3 months we are going to have to get her out of the habit of being held all of the time, so pray for us! I tell you what though, I really have no complaints! She is just so much fun to take care of, even when she is letting me have it! I am living my dream of being a stay at home wife and mother! That is all I have ever wanted, and it has just exceeded my expectations beyond measure. May the Lord continue to bless our little family!!

DOLLBABY!!

Every Sunday morning, I just can't wait to go pick out Allie's dress and put it on her because I know she is going to be without a doubt the prettiest girl at church that Sunday! We call her our little dollbaby because she looks just like a little doll that should be in a china cabinet when she gets all dressed up! I could just kiss her little cheaks off when she looks like this. Everyone at church can't wait to see little Allie and what she is wearing every Sunday. She is the youngest person at Mt. Zion, and everyone loves her to pieces!

Hallelujiah, It's Over!!
Me, Michael, and Allie were all saying this after Michael's graduation, ofcourse, Allie was a little bit more vocal about it as you can see! She did so good until the very end, and then she had just had enough! After four and a half long years of school, he finally did it, and I am so proud of the man that I could cry! He signed his first teaching contract with Jones County yesterday, and we are just so excited about Michael's new beginning. I know that he is going to be a great teacher and role model! He worked really hard to become a teacher and the provider for our little family.
I'M FALLING!!
This is one of our favorite looks from Allie, without a doubt! We get really close to her, and then pull back really fast, and I think it makes her thinks she is falling. Don't worry, I know she looks scared to death but she loves it when we do this. A big smile always follows this look. She is developing such a personality, and we learn a little bit more about Allie every day!!
MY DADDY THINKS I'M FAT!
Now, where in the world do you think Michael would get an idea like that:) I lost count of Allie's little rolls now, and she is outgrowing her 0-3 months clothes by the day, so I just recently washed all of her 3-6 months clothes, which she seems much more comfortable in. Her daddy calls her his little pig, and he loves every roll that makes her up!

The difference that just a few weeks makes!! Allie has grown by leaps and bounds, and I don't realy realize it until I see pictures like this!! She is just not our tiny little baby anymore.

SUCCESS!!!

Yeah! Allie finally likes her crib. She doesn't wake up scared in it anymore, and she sleeps for long periods of time. I can finally take advantage of sleep time again to do all of the fun stuff like wash dishes and clean the bathroom, he he!!

Eating Makes Me So Sleepy

This is Allie on her changing table after I fed her. I was trying to get her good and awake by changing her diaper because she had been sleeping for a long time, but as you see, my plan didn't work out all that well. This was too precious of a picture opportunity to pass up!!

Look What I Can Do!!!!

I am getting to be such a big girl!! Can't you tell that I am so proud of myself!!

Today has been a little trying with Allie! I am trying to get her used to her own bed as she has been sleeping in Mommy's and Daddy's room at night and for her naps since she was born. She will stay asleep for about twenty minutes, and then I hear some wimpering and to my dismay I see her little head bobbing back and forth as I approach her crib! I am sticking to my guns though!! She may be a little fussy until she gets used to it, but I am about ready to reclaim my room as my own!! If the little buger can sleep so peacefully in her carseat, then she can sleep in her comfy big girl bed!!
