Poor baby!

I have had a sick, teething baby on my hands lately. Just when teething was about to get the better of her, she started running a fever and today she had a little bit of diarrhea. I know that doctors say that teething doesn't cause those two things, but I still think it does. They said her blood count was normal so it had to be a virus. Well, Michael and I, and all that have been around Allie are well, so mom says it is her teething. Anywho, this has equalled sleepless nights for you know who. Thank God for the two hour nap I was able to get today!!! I just hope Allie sleeps a little better tonight! I will leave you with some pics of when our niece Emma came to stay with us last for a couple of weeks. This kid is absolutely precious. I would ask her, "Emma, are you going to eat your sanwich or what?" She would reply, "Just what." I learned to quit saying or what! Another one of my favorites was how she would come up to me and say, "So....Dana" just like a little adult. I miss that little buger!!

Um, can anyone say Tracy Inez?

Michael is like one of the children. I think he had the most fun of all!

I never could get these two still enough to get a really good picture. They had a blast playing together!

I'm Back!
Okay, so I could give all kinds of excuses as to why I have not been blogging, but none of them would be good enough for all of you who come to my page, anxiously awaiting a new post, to find the same old stuff that has been on there for ages. So, sorry! I will start by telling you that we had a wonderful Christmas! (Christmas, what's that, wasn't that like forever ago!) We went to Florida to be with our family down there and had a blast. Allie really opened up, FINALLY, to all of the people down there and fit right in to the chaos! I don't know how to spell that word so sorry again! We let Allie open her presents down there being that this was her first Christmas and all. She had such a good time!!!

Allie absolutely loved her Pa too. She just took to him so quickly. Pa was very eager to show off his status with Allie to my mom too.

Ofcourse, Allie warmed up to my mom too. She actually got her to sleep, which is not a feat that very many people can conquer. Ninny is not nearly as eager to pose for pictures, hence I only have one picture of Ninny and Allie to share with you.

We were able to see Luke, Allie's older cousin by a few weeks, open his presents too. He is just so precious I could eat him!

And now blogger has decided to not let my upload any more picture so I will have to save the rest of my holiday pictures for later. So to all of you who were wondering, we are still alive and well!!

So back to the holidays....I also finally got to spend some time with the newest addition to the family, Nolan. He has already won my heart, and I am sure you can see why!!

The absolute highlight of my trip though was "the gingerbread house!" Layne and Bayli, two of my nieces, decided to build a gingerbread house. Let's just say it didn't go all that well. Layne found it rather humerous, and well, let's just say Bayli wasn't very happy about the whole thing.

Ready to build the best gingerbread house in the world.....So far so good and all is well........Somebody huffed and puffed and blew their house down. Layne took it rather well, but I will leave you with a quote from Bayli, "This is my first gingerbread house ever and it's a disaster!" Got to love that kid!
