Allie on the Tractor
We are planning on having a little garden this year. I am so excited. We are going to have tomatoes, squash, green beans, and purple hulls! To all of you who are thinking, "What? They have absolutely no idea how to take care of a garden!" Well, you are right my friends, but we are going to try anyway and I am going to be Marth Stewart before you know it!Michael's daddy came over yesterday to till us up a little spot with his tractor and Allie just thought she needed to hop right up there with him. She had such a good time with Grampa!
She also had "a ball" playing with her ball. He He, get it, had a ball playing with her ball. Well anywho, yes I have had too much coffee this morning and am definitely using my time unwisely right now by blogging, but hey, who cares right! Here is my little buger playing with her ball.

Congratulations!
How many acres y'all gon'na plant?
I know, you said a small plot. That's a good plan because even a small garden takes a LOT of work. Keeping the weeds from crowding out the veggies is our biggest problem.
I refer to Charles as Mr. MacGregor because of our struggles early on in our gardening ventures with keeping the wabbits away. So, Mr. MacGregor ALWAYS says he's only going to plant a few of this and a couple of that and we wind up with way-y-y-y-y more than we can really manage.
I LOVE having fresh vegetables. Since we "bought the farm" out here on Pancras, I learned to can and freeze vegetables and jellies and I hate to tell you, Sis Dana, but there's not enough room in this town for TWO Martha Stewarts and I was FIRST!
Do enjoy visiting with you all in between church services and your website fills that void. You are an amazing young Christian family and I applaud you both and ask God's continued blessings in your lives.
Much love,
Sis Dianne
